Aeon Lighting Technology Launches Square LED Downlight with 130lm/W Luminous Efficiency 2020-12-17
With a full range of color temperatures available, from 2200K golden yellow to pure white, this new downlight allows customers to choose according to their preferences. The product uses chips from global semiconductor giants CREE and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, combined with ALTLED lighting technology, to deliver high-quality lighting.
Taiwan-based Aeon Lighting Technology Inc. has recently launched its latest product, the ALTLED Uniqube square design downlight. Compared to the commonly seen LED round downlights in the market, the Uniqube series offers superior brightness, with a luminous efficacy of 130lm/W, nearly double that of similar LED downlights in the industry.
The ALTLED Uniqube series square downlights are available in various sizes, including 2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch options, allowing for flexible installation according to design or spatial requirements. With its sleek, modern appearance, the downlight’s outer frame emits a subtle and elegant colored glow, creating a nebula-like effect. Customers can choose between the brightest option (130 lumens per watt) or a high color rendering index (CRI>90). The downlight comes with a full range of color temperatures, from 2200K golden yellow to pure white, based on customer preferences.
Equipped with CREE and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors chips and integrated with ALTLED lighting technology, this downlight provides exceptional quality lighting. Aeon Lighting Technology hopes that the newly launched ALTLED Uniqube series will not only enhance the practicality of LED lights but also create a top-tier lighting solution. Mass production is expected to begin in June.
Additionally, Aeon Lighting Technology’s ALTLED Dimmable PAR38 (IP68) spotlight has received PSE certification in Japan and is now available for export to Japan. The ALTLED PAR38 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering high brightness and 100% waterproof and dustproof performance (meeting IP68 standards). Its high quality has earned the trust of internationally renowned hotels. For example, the NOVOTEL hotel chain in Bahrain, managed by a French group, has installed ALTLED PAR38 (IP68) spotlights in its outdoor gardens. Whether in the extreme heat of Bahrain (temperatures can exceed 45°C) or during rainfall, the ALTLED PAR38 operates perfectly, even in temperatures as low as -65°C.
Currently, the ALTLED PAR38 features CREE and Bridgelux chips, with a lumen output of up to 3,050 lumens. The company plans to introduce LUXEON T chips by the end of May, which will further enhance the lumen output.
